Good water bottle. Easy to fill and it has a strainer at the bottom to keep big pieces of fruit out of the water. Its conic shape makes it easy to express citric juice just pressing the fruit against the cone shaped strainer.
For me It is a bit difficult to open when its time to wash it. But it might be just me because of my arthritis.
Overall it is a good investment.
I get so many curious looks when I carry this bottle around with me everywhere. People just want to know what the heck that green thing is at the bottom.
Once I show them and explain it they instantly want one. I think I've referred 10 people to getting one.
I love the circular carrying handle and the quality of this bottle is top notch. Probably the best bottle I have owned. And I have owned a lot.
The only downfall is that when you drink out of it, your mouth rests on the threads for the lid to screw on. I don't like that because water that gets trapped in those often drips onto my shirt when I take a drink. I've gotten used to that at this point.
Other than that I love this bottle and will probably buy a replacement if/when this one kicks the bucket.
Absolutely love this bottle, I even ordered a second one in another color! It is durable, I have dropped it while riding my bike and it rolled down the steep paved hill and still looks great.. I love juicing different citrus or even putting cucumber and mint into the bottom. Everyone always asks about it. When I take it hiking, I clip it to me easily using the ring at the top. Easy to unscrew with one hand and hold on to the cap with a finger through the ring hole.
You do have to tighten it pretty tight to prevent leaks, but I have no difficulty loosening it.
As other reviewers said, the bottom part is too small to hold half of an orange or grapefruit, but there's no reason why you need to use a whole half of the fruit. I just throw a quarter of the fruit, push on it to juice it, and leave it in there. It's not as cute as a perfectly sized lemon or lime, but it's still delicious.
My sister has been using hers with a half lemon and tiny cube of frozen ginger to settle her stomach and she loves it.
Can I just say, that I literally own 5 of these now... I absolutely love them. They hold alot, juice just right, and I don't have to drink "through" the fruit like the other bottles. They have a customer for life. I haven't had any problems with them that weren't "user error". Meaning, I twisted it a little off and it leaked, or my husband actually cranked on it REALLY hard and cracked one. I wash them in the dishwasher and now ALL of my 8 kids are wanting one of their own so they can make their own fruity water
